skrat
As I am stitching along, all of a sudden my bobbin sounds like it is real loose in the hook assembly, then the tension goes haywire for a few stitches, then back to normal. What would be causing this?
TishMarshall
check your tension in the bobbin, make sure you have your tension spring in and that it's working correctly. Sometimes just re-threading the machine helps. You could also have a tension challenge on the top. Give it a try anyway. Best of luck to you. Primitive1
Are you using pre-wound bobbins? I would try a different bobbin and clean the area really well...check all screws to be sure they are all tight as well. Vicki
juliagraves
Check to make sure you don't have any lint in your bobbin case. Pop out the little metal ring in the bottom of the bobbin case and clean out from under there. Also check under the little metal piece on the outside of the bobbin where the thread comes out - lint can hide in there. Also really clean out the entire bobbin area as Shannon recommends, with lots of WD40 (be sure to clean well and oil afterwards). Julia
