doodlebug
i was flipping through the new Quiltmaker magazine and they had an article called 'Sew Green' and it had the coolest tote made from recycle water pouches from Global Mamas so i went to website to get a closer look. I was surprised. Check it out. (this isn't an 'endorsed' thing, just thought i'd share) http://www.globalmamas.org Tote made from water pouches: http://www.globalmamas.org/cp-app.pl?usr=51F108337&rnd=426025&rrc=N&poo=P&pg=prod&ref=TrashyToteBag&cat=Bags&catstr=HOME:Accessories:Bags They make everything in Ghana (Africa) from anything they can recycle. Also, it is a fair trade policy(which is cool) In art school i had a sculpture assignment to make something from 'trash' and i guess this is why i thought this was so cool. Especially since being green is so important these days. I ordered a couple of totes for me.
Belbelle
Hi Shannon, Thanks for the cool website - - I plan to lay in a supply of "trashy bag" totes and use them instead of gift bags for birthdays, etc. I don't know about you, but I really don't need more gift bags to recycle. This is definitely a gift that keeps on giving.
Sandra Darlington
Shannon, I just looked at that web site and thought it was so interesting that I forwarded it to a few friends who I know will like it, too.
