sewingjunky Posted January 22, 2009 Report Share Posted January 22, 2009 I have built a yahoo group called Long Arm Quilters of the NW (MMQG) at yahoo.com Some of you that I had emails for I invited to join. All of you are welcome, but I did make the group private so we don't get a bunch of spammers. The thought is this, sometimes not all of us read the board on a consistant basis and would have missed this meeting if it wouldn't have been for phone calls. So on the yahoo group we can send a general email to the entire group as to when the next meeting is and the address. Not everyone wants their address posted on a big open forum, so this might work better. I am not however suggesting that this replaces our forum here. This is such a great group and they also want to share in our fun and photos, and yes Shana my Dorothy red sparkly shoes are my all time favorite! Well, maybe next to the hot pink boots? Could be a toss up! Anyhow, for any of you that would like to join the yahoo group please just request to join and put in the subject line something about longarming that way I will know it is not a spammer.
