eula
I have a 2007 Millie & have raised the head. When I went to raise the leveler bar, I had to raise it about 3/4" instead of 3/8" as stated in the cl instructions. I also raised the quilt top bar. I could find nothing in the APQS manual about the height of the bars, whether the leveler bar & quilt top bar should be the same level, etc. I have checked the level on everything. The table is level, the head is level, but the leveler bar & quilt top bar are not. The leveler bar is a little lower. Will this make any difference? ffq-lar
Does your machine pass easily under each roller without drag? The two roller should be positioned so the quilt sandwich lays flat and level. You may want to load something and see what happens.
eula
yes, it does. i've only quilted 1 quilt & wasn't sure if one bar was suppose to be higher than the other one or not. it probably doesn't matter but being a newbie wasn't sure. Quilting Heidi
With a quilt on the frame you should be able to put you hand under the leveler bar to the first knuckle. If it is higher then that you might have thread breakage. Lower than that and it will create drag.
