Vittumhill
Hi, I was cleaning the bobbin area with the air/W-40/ and oil, the machine was running, thought I would wipe up some of the oil, and the rotary hook ate my cloth:o it jammed up, and stopped!! My husband was able to get the cloth out, but the machine stopped and I blew a fuse. Are those fuses specific for these machines??? It was a painful lesson ...guess I won't have the machine running in the future when I;) clean her up!!!
LynnQuilts
There should be a spare fuse in the little holder where the fuse is. If not, you can get them at Radio Shack, 6.3 A, slow blow fuses.
Guest Linda S
Oh dear! Fortunately, I had read about this happening to someone else before I got my machine, so I know never to get a cleaning cloth near it while it is running. I do like to run the machine to distribute the WD-40 and the oil. Hope you get a new fuse and get running soon! Linda
