Mary Beth
My machine is just not stitching! I have been happily working away...rolled the quilt....SID down the border and now am trying to SID around the block...and the needle down up picks up my bobbin thread, then I start to stitch and everything does what it is suppose to but no stitches What the heck?? I swear I am not doing anything differently than I was 3 inches ago.
Quilting Heidi
Mary Beth, That is odd! Did you break a thread or anything? I'd start by checking the bobbin. make sure the thread didn't slip out somewhere. I hope you get it solved quickly!
Mary Beth
Heidi, Here is the deal...my bobbin cases all seemed to be bad so I ordered a couple of new ones. I am using one of the new cases and the Towa gage had me really loosening up the tension - a lot! So I over rode the Towa gage and tightened it up a bit and it started working again. It is strange because it was stitching just fine. Then I rolled the quilt and then my bobbin thread would break every time I started to stitch. After I tightened it up a bit, it is working fine...just keep your fingers crossed.

Quilting Heidi
Mary Beth, So glad it is stitching again. I wonder if it had to do with the tightness or looseness of the sandwich. I'll keep my fingers cossed for you! Glenda is right no slapping that machine and lord don't throw the bobbin case across the room either!
