Grammie
Well I just received my first Applique quilt to do. I'm not sure about the borders and what to quilt. There are alot of open spaces and the customer would like alot of feathers if possible in whatever order I want. Some of the applique is large and I hope to add some dimension to some of it like the flowers and such. I'm hoping my Quilters Dream puff is going to get here soon. If the Dream is back ordered what do you suggest? Maybe two layers of the Hobb's or what other Batting with puff could I use. I need to get it ordered right away. Thanks for your help everyone. I am excited to do this quilt. It is a wedding gift for her daughter and I want it to be great. My Compuquilter is going to really be great with this quilt. As soon as I have the batting I am going to go ahead and get it basted and echo the applique pieces and any SID needed. I will be ready to use CQ when it is installed. I have to have it done by April 1st so I need a head start on it with my work schedule. Tammie

Sue Patten
Wow!!!!! my first hand applique was only the size of a single block and you could see the stitches from the next room, I used the glue methode and went through about 7 glue sticks LOL. This is wonder... Awesome job. You'll have to post a photo once you have is all quilted for us.
