Quilting Heidi
I just got in a customer quilt and I'm having a tough time picking out the right design for it. The quilt is for a little boy. The sashing looks like a road, black with yellow center and then there are big blocks with construction trucks. She wanted an e2e but do any of you have any options? Sandra Darlington
Heidi, I have a panto called Bumper to Bumper, by Dave Hudson. It might be worth looking at. When do you need it? I could bring it to MQX for you, if that would help.
Quilting Heidi
Sandra, Thank for the offer but I think I need something more with construction trucks. I did find one though from Dave Hudson that might just be perfect, it is called Heavy Trucks. I think I'll send that one to my customer and see if she likes it. I'm hoping to have it done before MQX. lizziesgirl
Loes did one for me a while ago and it turned out really well. Check out their site, I believe its a free download. I'll post a pic if I have one.
lizziesgirl
Found it. This is the backside of the quilt but it shows the design better.

lizziesgirl
Heidi, It was really easy to do and you have 4 construction vehicles, I believe. You can make them the size you want so they will fit the quilt perfectly. It was really cool to do.
Quilting Heidi
I love InDesign! It is just an awesome program. I think I would redo it so that the design was more all-over vs in a straight line. I'll have to see if I have time to play!

Dutchman
Yes, Florida is great. Loes has been teaching last week at the AnnTheGran Community Circle. Great show, spoken to a lot of old and new friends. We are staying with Ann & Bill now and will leave for Holland end of this week and come back again to teach at MQS in Kansas mid May.
