Kay Anderson
Sorry, I'm really bad at photos. This is a commission quilt I'm creating for a family. They wanted the grandmothers old house dresses they saved worked into a quilt. I could use some help with the backgrounds for the dress blocks. Sandra Darlington
Hi Kay, I think you came up with a wonderful idea of how to use grandmother's house dresses in a quilt. It is a perfect plan. As far as the quilting...I'll leave that up to the pros out there, but just wanted to let you know I think is is going to be a real treasure when you're done. lindasewsit
Kay, That quilt is so cute!! How about taking each block's dress and using a backround filler from something on the dress, like the plaid one, crosshathching, the ones with flowers ,quilt flowers and the paisley looking one, do pasley, stripes, stripes.... really cute! I want to see what you do with it!! linda
