ThreadWaggle Posted April 28, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 Sheri got an up close look at mine from the January post as it is on my bed and she was at my house with this one, that I posted for her. Mine is not a structured layout so I was able to just freehand it. Funny thing though, there are a lot of the same batiks in both of the quilts. Part of the reason that I asked her if I could post the picture for her is because her customer wanted her to echo quilt a 1/4 inch in like a hand quilter. She thinks that she can talk the customer into something different, which would make them both happy with the result. I do think that this quilt needs some soft quilting like feathers in the light areas and something more linear in the dark areas. I love this quilt top, but then I am a little biased when it comes to batiks and drunkard's path blocks. Hi Patty! I think your feathers looked good on your quilt.
