nora123
ok i'm frustrated. i got my juki thread guides and they do not fit. no matter what i did i could not get them on the needle bar. so here is my question. does anyone have a different needle bar thread guide they are using that fits our apqs machines?. doodlebug
they fit- it's just REALLY tight. i had to hold it with needle nose pliers while knocking it from the bottom with the side of my small hammer. take out the needle screw....if you have it on the left you'll be moving it to the hole on the right. patience is a virtue...it took me some sweat and about 30 minutes to get it. DO NOT try to push it apart in the back where it splits apart to loosen it up- it will break. it's a casted steel part. and i do agree with who said it- you'll probably need to emory the hole for the thead- i had a burr. this is easiler to do before you try to get on the machine (i thought) and i found a slight top tension adjustment (looser) needed to be done
