needle up/down

Sorry about that. I know this has been covered but I haven't

found it yet today. What do I do to make the needle up/down button stop running?

This has only started to happen in the last couple of days and slows me down considerably. So...when I go to start quilting, I push the yellow button to get the needle down to pick up the bobbin thread. Usually it goes down, then up and off I go. Now it keeps going and going, making thread knots as it runs. What shall I do?

If you have a Millie just look on pages 221-222 in your manual. It is a simple adjustment to the gold screw. Don't be scared of it. You will probably have to do this from time to time.

I have the opposite problem. My needle up/down button isn't working at all. The other buttons on that handle work fine. It had been working ok for several quilting passes and then stopped. I turned off the machine and tried again the next day. It worked twice and hasn't worked since. What do I do? Can I turn the fly wheel manually?

Also, I do not have the instructions for screw #8 adjustments. Do I need to adjust this?

im afraid i dont know how to fix your problem, but you can turn the flywheel manually. i do it all the time.
