Janice
I have read several articles about needles. So now, I am totally confused. I have a Freedom. I am nearly out of needles. What should I buy?
Bonnie
If you go to the first page of the APQS website and go down under Dawn's picture and find the heading Quilt Talk....and then when that opens off to the left is a list of topics....click on "Just Needling You" and this will explain why our machines work best with the needles that come with it. I have used the Titatum needles in my older machine, and they seemed sharper, and when they broke they totally shatter and pieces go all over the place...didn't like that much so now I will just stay with the ones I can get from APQS. Janice
Thanks Bonnie, I will go to the website, but it sounds like you gave me good advise. Thanks a bunch.
LinneaMarie
I use the Titanium needles by Groz Beckert. I love them, and mine don't shatter; they just break. And not very often. Usually they get dull and I change them before they break. I can usually do 3 or 4 quilts without changing the needle. I mostly use a size 4.0.
