marley
Hi everyone, I just wanted to tell you all about a wonderful day I attended yesterday. 20+ members of our sewing group went by bus 100km to Ouyen in NW Victoria, Australia, for their International Quilting day 3 Speakers kept us entertained talking about Vintage sewing machine collection, Posture while sewing, and Collecting Antique Quilts. There was lots of Show & Tell, Raffle draws, lucky numbers prizes, great food, vendor stalls, machine embroidery demonstration. Everyone received a show bag of many interesting sewing related items. Well done, Ouyen!! Marley
matildanme
Hey Marley, Sounds like you had a great time! It's fab when you can get a bus load together for an outing Is this a one off event? Or should I keep an eye out for it next year? Cheers Satu
