Suzie W.
I am being approached by a 4-H group to make a 4 ft. or so banner for their County to hang at their County and State Fairs. It would involve applique work, possibly some piecing and quilting on my longarm. I have made several banners for other groups but have never charged. So this is exciting but I have no idea how to figure out what to bid. Any help would be appreciated.
Bonnie
There are many ways to approach this, but the way that works best for me is hourly based. Depending on how difficult it is my range flex between $15 - $30. And if its super simple and not much brain surgery $10. These charges also need to refect your costs of materials as well...so if the material is costly, then it goes up... You will surely get advise from others that do it a totally different way than I do, but this is what works for me.
