How do you post a picture here????

I have posted lots of pictures on other sites, but can't figure out the secret here. When I click on the little Mountain/Sun icon, it does something totally strange to me.

Joy,

There are several FAQs regarding posting photos but they

are not always easy to find.

I have noticed that the mountain icon thing does not do

well with photos from webshots. The

http://www.photobucket.com

website photos play better with the APQS forum and will

allow mutiple photos.

You can try using the Attachment field vice the mountain

icon. It is easier to see photos which have been resized to

640 x 480. Only 1 photo can be posted (per post) using the

Attachment method. Don't Preview" after you

have 'attached' a photo, it seems to wipe out the attachment field.

And of course,you can give us a 'taste' of the photo and

then point us to your website (webshots or other) by

providing the link the earth with hyperlink symbol (2 to the

left of the mountain) icon. The hyperlink is a 2-part link -

one with the common name like Fred's page and then the

actual URL to Fred's website. You can also just type the URL

into the body of the post. If you start it with http:// plus

the web-site(no spaces), most times it comes thru (like in

the 2nd paragraph above.)

We love photos here. It is a great way to share and learn,.
