My modified 9patch measures 9in square like it is supposed to. When I add my triangle units on all 4 sides my square measures 12 3/4 not 12 1/2. What should the long side of that triangle measure before I sew it on? Mine are 5in high and the base is 9 3/4. Thanks, Carol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Borderline Quilter Posted December 5, 2010 Report Share Posted December 5, 2010 Hi Carol...I had to trim just a little off the inside of those corner triangles to get the square the right size and also to get the triangles to fit the modified 9P block, something like 1/8th inch....just remember to trim from the inside of the triangle (that's the long edge) not the outside...then it will fit....
