lilykw
I upgraded to bliss about a month ago and I love it, but it no longer has the little bumper to keep the back of my hopping foot from hitting the roller bar which is no biggie for me personally because I'm conscious of it, but I rent my machine out and my renters are not so conscious. Is this normal on the bliss or is mine missing the bumper? It also makes a very loud noise when the machine is in the center of the table--has anyone else noticed this? Thanks, Lily
Katydids
There no longer is a bumper on the carriage with the Bliss system. Need to elaborate more on the noise?
lilykw
It sounds like something within the table is vibrating, like two pieces of metal vibrating together. I wonder if it has something to do with not having the support bars under the rails anymore? I have a 14' table Millie, and since it only makes the noise in the center and to a foot or so on either side, I assume that it's because that's where it vibrates the most, but I wanted to make sure it's not some horrible sign that I'm killing my machine. Katydids
No, the new rails are pretty heavy duty, I doubt it is a sagging issue. I would check to make sure the steel rod is seated properly in the center . Check both front and rear rods. Other than that, I would call Amy in the morning. Don't know what else it could be.
