jobuck
Help: I accidently caught a small piece of batting into the emtpy bobbin area. I cut it all out making sure not to "catch " any metal . However when I hand turned the needle up and down, the up and down motion is not insync with the bobbin. The needle goes up and down and then connects with the empty bobbin area. What did I do??
Bonnie
Sounds like you, jumped your timing....better call the techs and have them walk you through a re-timing. Man I hate when that happens. Lets us know how it goes.
jobuck
Bonnie: Thanks so much. I was afraid that calling Mark was going to be the answer. So much for finishing that charity baby quilt tonight. I appreciate your time. Jo-Ellen;)
SherryRogers
Hate it when that happens! You could try dousing the hook with WD40 and letting it set a bit before blowing it out with canned air or an air compressor. I would do this several times and try rotating the hook by hand in between. You may have also blown the fuse. You will know when you turn it on if it does not do anything. We have a spare fuse under the power cord just in case. After you blow out all the WD40, you must oil the bobbin case as normal. I hope this helps, holler if you need further assitance.
