barbz
I have a milli with a frozen (stuck) hopping foot; blew a fuse, broke a needle and now the machine refuses to budge. Can anyone give me suggestions to correct my problem. thanks
Sams Mom
I don't know if I can help but I'll try. I did this a couple of weeks ago and the hopping foot wasn't moving because the needle was lodged in the machine. I had to loosen the needle bar, from the front of the machine, and then gently, with force and a pair of pliers, pull out the needle. Believe it or not, I didn't have to retime the machine. Is the needle lodged? Donna
barbz
No, I was able to remove the remaining needle part. --- I just went and started the machine and it made the noise like it was trying to stitch (it was groaning at me). So I pulled on the needle housing and was able to get it started again. I'm such a chicken when it comes to manipulating the machine - always afraid that I might do damage. Thanks for the reply. I'm a newbie and have lots to learn. Fortunately I have a wonderful friend, Joan, that has helped me immeasurably.
barbz
Still having problems - I think the needlebar is bent. What should I do?
Primitive1
I think I would give APQS a call and ask them to walk you through what to do while you are on the phone with them.
