Lauralou
Can anyone tell me the footprint of the Millennium with 12' and/or 14' table? As I understand it, one edge can go against the wall and you need at least 3' around the remaining 3 sides, is this correct? It doesn't seem like enough room to load a quilt onto the machine though. Thanks in advance, Laura
John Mitchell
For a 12 foot table you should have 9 feet by 15 feet and for a 14 foot table you need 9 feet by 17 feet. The C motor adds about 1 foot to the table. John
Lauralou
Thanks for the quick answer! My largest spare room is 15' 6" X 15' 7" so I would have to go with a 12' table I guess. That room is unfinished so I guess I'll have a clean slate to start with. Laura
SandraC
I have a 12' table, but it is place in the room diagonally with the motor end right into the corner of the room. It's a tight fit but I have lots of room to work from the back and the front of the machine.
Stagecl
I had a 14 ft table with my Gammill...when I sold it and bought my Millie I went with a 12 ft table. I have no regrets. Yes, it may be tight with some very large quilts, but that is okay by me because those are few. I do quilt many that are around 100 inches wide and the 12 ft table is big enough.
