Lib
I have a client that wants me to supply the batting. I have never had to do this before as everyone always brings their own batting. I have Warm and Natural and the quilt is 51 in x 47 in. What is a good price to charge her? I just don't have a clue! Lib
juliagraves
Charge her the comparable retail. I get batting by the roll, so charge by the inch, but if there's left over, they paid for it, and they get the option to keep it. My Quilter's Dream battings run around $.22 (poly) - .26 (cotton blend) per linear inch, but that was before their price increase. So - W&N has cotton, so go with $.26/linear inch * 53" (shorter measurement plus extra) = $13.78. If you end up using a larger batt because you don't have one the right size, charge her retail for the size you used. Julia
Lib
Thanks Julia. I think I will charge her $15.00 as I am up here in Canada. I knew someone on this awesome site would help me. Lib
