bonbon
What are your favorite Christmas pantos?
Sandra Darlington
Hi Bonnie, I only have a few, so really can't say I have a favorite. I have "Holly Ribbon" and "Pointsetta." I've also used one called "Nancy's Flakes" that is a winter, rather than a Christmas panto. I just used the Holly Ribbon on a friend's Christmas quilt. Most of the fabrics had a bit of gold on them, so I used Glide's gold (not metalic) thread. It looked like metalic, but with no fuss. I used So Fine on the back in beige, as that looked best with the backing. It looks very nice and was not difficult to do. It is by "Different Strokes." I found it on the internet, but don't remember which site.
ffq-lar
Hi Bonnie, Check out Patricia Ritter's Seasonal pantos on the website. Lots of holly and poinsettias and I like her open snowflake panto. I don't own any so I can't tell you how easy/intricate they are. I like the meandering holly and the one with the tree lights. www.urbanelementz.com
RoseCity Quilter
I bought quite a few Christmas Panto's and have only used one in the 2years I have been quilting (full time). I wish I would have saved my money.....
