Anne from Guam
I am making a quilt for my stepson who is moving to New Zealand to play rugby. I have a QD wool batting and I thought it would be nice and warm. But this quilt is for a 23 year old! Does the wool stand up to frequent washings? Or should I just use QD poly or W&N? Guest Linda S
Anne - not only is Quilter's Dream a quality product, I've been using wool batting in almost all of my own quilts for the last 15 years. Actually, I have a 17 year old quilt (I didn't make it, my sisters did) that has wool in it. The fabric is beginning to get wear holes in it, but the batting is fine. I've always just washed the quilt in the washer on warm and thrown it in the dryer. No problems!
