Terri C.
I am getting grease in the bobbin area (hopefully picture is attached) the machine sounds fine but I don't think this is normal. Can anyone tell me why this is happing and should I be concerned about it?
Primitive1
Hi Terri, I too get grease and I just changed out my motor grease and think I didn't get enough of the clear silicon back around the openings and so it leaks out, if you can get some in a tube at a local hardware store and just run a ring around where it is leaking, it should stop it... Terri C.
Thanks for the reply Vicki. The grease is not coming from around the edges but from the area behind the bobbin case back at the black bearing (not sure what the actual name is) I don't think this area gets the silicon around it, I could be wrong I'll have to double check that. Primitive1
I put some around mine anyway, it did not seem to affect the bobbin....
