juliagraves
I have just hooked up my Hartley Fence and loved making the circles, etc. I also got Myrna's book, which was SO much more helpful than the instructions that came with the HF! My question is - do I keep the idler arm on all the time? It looks like I might be able to run it into the table supports or something and bang it up, but it also looks like a pain to take it on and off all the time. What do people do? Move the HF base over so that the machine will bump into it versus the table supports and bend the idler arm?
Marion
I'd appreciate knowing an easy way to put the HF on and take it off. Would it be easier to put the nuts and bolts on upside down? I used it once for the circles but had to take it off as the machine and it kept colliding, and now I want to do circles again. ?
