Sheri, there are two kinds of longarm quilters: those who have already put a needle in backwards and those that WILL!:P:P Seriously, if you put in a new needle, it's best to double-check that it's in right, either by using the flywheel to move it manually through a single stitch, or by using the single-stitch button.
