grammydiane
YIKES...I don't know what happened to my machine from the time I last used it until now, but when I went to baste I am getting these great big loops on the bottom. Can someone give me a quick fix. Of course it happens when you have to get two quilts done before Christmas and they have to be mailed to Michigan. LOL Any help would be appreciated. I don't know if it is tension or what. Thanks much.
sewingupastorm
First check to be sure it is correctly threaded. I would just pull out the thread and rethread from scratch. Loops on the bottom mean that your topthread is way too loose.
ramona-quilter
I agree. I had the same problem. It turned out to be that my thread was not inside the tension disks, it was floating along the outside. Rethreading would be my first step. grammydiane
Well...I guess that was the problem. I thought I had it threaded correctly, but took it all the way out and did it again and I was in business. Thanks so much you guys. Now maybe I will have these two quilts done in time. HAPPY HOLIDAY QUILTING:P:P:P:P
sewingupastorm
Just goes to show that sometimes the solution is so simple we overlook it!
