Janette
How much of a gap should there be between the machine and the quilt (I have a Lenni) I mean when you look at the roller and you can see the extended base underneath, how much gap should there be between the quilt and the base? I looked at it today and thought, that gap wasn't that big before - or maybe I am just going crazy ! I hope that question makes sense.
RitaR
Janette, I just checked the spacing, on my lenni with a quilt on it. The space between the fabric and the hopping foot is very very little! I also have my Penny the Lenni. RitaR
Quilting Heidi
If I recall correctly the lenni table doesn't adjust like the millies do so I'm not sure if the spacing is the same. You should be able to slide your hand under the two bars to the first knuckle.
Janette
Thanks, I think mine is a bit higher than that Heidi, I can't really adjust it too much on the Lenni, but as my extended base was fitting tightly under one side of the top bar I untightened and retightened my side arm on that side, and maybe I am imagining the change..... LOL...

Can you fit your fingers under that gap?
