Marlene Bowker
I need some advice, please... I've noticed yet again, that when I advance to the next row of stitching, when checking several points before starting to sew, that the reference row on the pattern (the bottom pink/blue reference row) does not correspond with my previous stitched row. It is off by about a quater inch to the left, but only on some parts not all. I follow the panto's very accurately, so its not that I may have gone of the line in the previous row... I'm befuddled... Could the reference row on the pattern be innacurate?? I've noticed this on a few panto's already:o Have any of you ladies experienced this as well? If so, what do you do?? On the previous panto that did this it wasn't obvious but I'm worried that with this one it might be as it is a very structured swirl pattern (Fascination) Any suggestions would be much appreciated
RitaR
Hi Marlene. The gals may have more info than I. I think I would call APQS and ask for Amy. She is a machine whiz, can even determine the problems over the phone. She truely is a wealth of information.
Quilting Heidi
My guess is that your take-up bar is not feeding evenly. Check to make sure the height of it is the same on both sides (check threads on screw eye that the bar goes in). Also check to make sure your leaders are straight and rolling evenly. Marlene Bowker
Thanks Rita & Heidi! Heidi you're a genius :cool: there was play on the take-up roller end 'thingies'. I'll fix that and see if that takes care of it. I really hope it does
