I think one of my favorites, or at least the most memorable for me, was the mermaid underwater quilt, but there were soooo many fabulous ones! Guest Linda S Posted July 18, 2012 Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 Sisters puts on a good show, but you have to be ready for the heat, no shade, and the crowds. We generally go over the old highway and turn around just before town so that the car is pointed home, and park. Walk into town with a bottle of water, camera, and an umbrella (portable shade), and enjoy the quilts. When we're done, or too hot and tired, we retreat to the car and beat a hasty retreat back up over the mountains! I have to admit that I enjoy Sisters (and the Stitchin' Post) a lot more when there aren't so many people in it, but then you don't get to see so many wonderful quilts!
