Ethereal Girl
I just moved my Milli to a different room in my house --very gently, no trauma to it. Since I moved it, the stitch regulator won't engage. When I push the green button on the left it starts beeping, but when I push the green button on the right to set the stitches per inch, it doesn't immediately light up. I have to push it several times to get a light at 7 and then, after several more pushes and the light skipping around, it may go up to 11. But, when I push the blue button to try to start sewing, it hesitates and sews very long basting stitches or skips stiches entirely -- especially when sewing left to right. I have checked that all cables are connected. I have a Bliss system, so I don't think that I am supposed to adjust encoder wheels. I have tightened the screw on the needle (it looked like there was some flex there initially when sewing side to side). It really seems that an electrical connection is not happening. Help!! I have some quilts I am trying to finish soon.
Judy Bland
Try checking the connections in your mushroom heads on the handles, gently ease them off the handles to look, you may have dislodged something in the move, make sure all connections under there are firm. Ethereal Girl
Hmmm, I hate to force them off. They seems like they are on really snugly. This is a new machine that I have only had since February 20. Could it be something else?
Primitive1
It might be good to give APQS a quick call and they can walk you through a checklist to see what it is...
