anniemueller
Ok, I'm going to try to catch up on posting pictures. I've quilted two of these 30's style quilts for a customer. She picked the quilting designs. The first one has the Baptist fan in the body with a leafy vine in the inner border and hugs and kisses in the outer border. I love the hugs and kisses! She also wanted some special motifs dropped in. There is a wedding vase in the center, two Quaker lamps and two barn stars in the outer corners. I designed most of these designs on my IQ. The Baptist fan is the Jessica Schtick (sp?) design that Corey recommended. Thanks Corey! Ooh, cool, I see how to do multiple pictures. Use "Add to post". anniemueller
The second quilt is very similar. We used the same hugs and kisses border and the motifs. This one had clam shell in the body and a wavey design in the inner border. I did not get a picture of the entire quilt, so here are some close ups. The wedding vase and clam shell showed up better on the back.
CindyT
I hadn't seen the hugs and kisses, but that's really cool. No way would I try that freehand. Both of these looks so "professional"!!! So glad to see what you've been up to. Great quilting!!
