Deann Posted February 1, 2007 Report Share Posted February 1, 2007 HI, was wondering --if anyone has done a Hawkeye (Iowa) t-shirt quilt, have you used black thread on black and gold on the gold or vice-versa? I have So Fine black and So Fine daffodil (which looks pretty good, better than the ginger gold). How does the same color quilting look and is it easier to do it that way? I used bottom line for the bobbin, and the clear thread on top. Worked well for me as there were so many different colors in the shirts. Just a thought.
