iedquilts
I'm wanting to do a diamond shaped cross hatch in shashings 2.5 x 14 however i do not want the finished diamond to be the width (2.5) of the sashing. ( does that make sense?) any suggestions / tutorial as to how to go about? thanks
delld
So use the width of 2 inches instead of the 2.5. That would give you .25 inch on each side of your diamond. Use that measurement for the width then decide how many diamond you want and divide the length of the sash by that number. That will give you the length of the diamond. Now divid that by 2 and that will tell where to mark the center of your diamond and then you can mark your lines to follow. Hope this makes sense!!! Good luck!
