cjtinkle
Hey everyone I don't normally run into any border issues with my own quilts, but this is a king size on point, and I have 2 borders that are a bit full. The quilt is square. Would it be easier to deal with the fullness loaded top and bottom, or on the sides? Thank you for any tips!
ffq-lar
Load it with the problem borders top and bottom. That way you can access the full width and ease or take pleats in the ideal spot(s). Loading with them on the sides and you can't see what's ahead and how bad it is. Good luck--you'll feel great when you're finished and the quilt looks good. cjtinkle
Thank you, that's what I was thinking. There's only about an inch of fullness so it won't be much anyway
shirleyl
Starch and steam that out. I don't consider an inch much of a problem. The problem ones I get are usually much more than that. Shirley
