cvrchota Posted February 14, 2007 Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 (i posted this problem on the stitch regulator forum with my other SR problem).... anyway... my tension seems to be great but i get an occasional loop (of the top thread) on the bottom of the quilt... on a 90" wide quilt, it'll loop 3 or 4 times in a panto row... any suggestions why this might be happening? thanks! charla Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ramona-quilter Posted February 14, 2007 Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 Charla, I have gotten intermittent loose stitches because I had lint bouncing around in the bobbin case. The one loose stitch happens when the lint ball interrupts the normal stitch process. Don't forget to look under the bobbin tension spring. Let us know how it works out.
