jbnt9999
Got sucked into "Christmas panel" with a couple of borders. Lap size. Ha, 70x80 and multiple pieced borders. Just need help with this one. Want candy cane effect or Barber pole . Can't get line right. Will take suggestions and other ideas. Thanks in advance. delld
How about just dividing each white and red with 2 lines so each piece would look like three pieces and make the border like like it was "winding"!
jbnt9999
I'm not quite sure what you mean, are the line vertical, horizontal , or diagonal ? Disappointed not more replies as I really need to get it done and I'm at a stand still.
ffq-lar
Hi Betty Ann. If you want a curved effect to the piecing, do shallow "C's" that echo the diagonal seams. That will give a curved effect to the stripes. Match the thread to the fabric unless you use gold or silver thread--or invisible thread will really nail the curved effect.
