Saw your post and thought I'd ask what ruler(s) / template(s) a newbie should start out using? I'm sure it primarily depends on the type of quilting an individual does, but I would think there must be a basic "must have" set for beginners. And you will even get to see the Quilter's Rule line, since that is what I stock. Don't stress out too much about rulers right now. You need to concentrate on finishing your Millie's space. My most used rulers are Deloa jones. My all time favorite and most used is her little one and boomerangs sises 8, 10 & 12. Glad you figured out the lift. Now get that studio done!
