Haroldene
I just received an asian panel with pieced borders, and am wondering if anyone has pictures of past projects for inspiration. Thanks
chickenscratch
No ideas, but I'll bet it is gorgeous
Primitive1
Are you able to load a picture? My first thoughts are to outline the pictures in the panel and then do a gingko looking leaf border in the pieced areas, or you could use the pieced areas to do CC's in the blocks. Or you could just do an all over clamshell and do a little grass fill in-between those clamshells. I did one once with multiple panels of two ladies and since the quilt was done by a friend for a friend, I looked up the asian symbol for friendship and quilted that in all of the blocks with the ladies…does that give you some ideas? Sheagatzi
I *just* finished one yesterday and handed it over to the owner today. I did clamshell with grass /sashikio in the background, quilted on the panel on the lines of the 'drawing' to give it texture, did rope style borders.
