Janetcrain
When I took off a customers quilt, there was a dark black stain, after reading some posts, I have come to realize that it is probably packing grease since I have found that little black cap under my machine. What do I use to remove this stain? and will I need to re-pack the machine with packing grease? What is the most secure method to replace the cap and keep it in place? Charlene
Hi, I use Sew Clean very successfully to remove that black stain. I had it happen one time, but didn't mess with the packing grease on the machine. Char
mark
Hi Janet, Clean off under the machine with some rubbing alcohol and clean the black cap really good as well. Just use Super Glue to put it back on underneath. That should hold it ok. Let us know if you need anything else. Take care,
