chickenscratch
I finished one of the snowman quilts. YOu can't really see the quilting very well. I also made this little table runner (42" long) for my sister. I still have the antique Santas applique customer quilt to do, but I have been putting it off because I am scared I am going to ruin it. I know that sounds silly,, but my machine refuses to go in circles or diagonals without hitting a pothole and making a jagged mistake. What if that happens on her precious quilt that took her two years to applique?

chickenscratch
Corey, it was so incredibly easy to make. You piece strips until you get a 14 inch square. Then you cut a 4" triangle off each corner. Then add a 6" x 1&1/2" piece for the ornament top. Sew the three ornaments together, layer and quilt to hold it all together, then add a backer and turn right side out. It took about two hours to make
RitaR
Great Job, Teresa.. The applique quilt, I'm sure you can do it in spite of your machine indiosyncraties. Your work is always wonderful.. send up a prayer and go for it.
chickenscratch
right now my machine is torn apart all over the sewing room- rather, that table is torn apart all over the sewing room. We are attempting to solve the dinged up rails solution. Hopefully will be back up and running by the weekend. If this doesn't fix it I will have to invest in the edgerider wheels and carriage, but $500 is a huge chunk of money to spend and hope that it fixes the problem
