donna sco
Can someone direct me to some pictures of quilting around embroidery or give some suggestions. My freehand is shaky so I don't want to ruin her beautiful embroidery. I have IQ so have been relying on it. Normally I would stitch around embroidery like an applique but these are so delicate, I am wondering if a stitch line would detract. Blocks are 6"x8" Thanks for any suggestions. Busy Quilting
Depends on how big the actual embroidery is. I ball my fist and place it over the embroidery if its is much larger than my fist I will carefully follow some of the outlines of the embroidery, but mostly I SID around it. In yours I would start at the stem SID around flower, then down stem then go off and fill in the background. BUT I do all of mine freehand....... So don't know if you could do that with a computer,
