MizQ Posted February 10, 2016 Report Share Posted February 10, 2016 Hi everyone, I have been staring at this top for a month and nothing is inspiring me to quilt, I have a couple of ideas for the sashing but the star block (12") with the circle in the center. Quilting Heidi Posted February 10, 2016 Report Share Posted February 10, 2016 That is a really pretty star block! If I were quilting it I would SID the star and I would cc the orange peel design. If you want more quilting you can do a background fill to make the star pop more. If you want lighter quilting you could cc the stars as well. Just depends how much work you want. Yes I was thinking of a swirl design in the sashing and the center circles. I'm just thinking the cc's will be too plain. but the star background are very busy, so I was thinking how to push into the background. Was thinking of a spin off of that fabric.
