bttyboopette
Has anyone used this in a quilt? Had any issues? A local quilt shop won't take it, they say it gums up the needle and could break the needle if it hits a spot where the fibers are too dense. I have a quilt to do and they gave me the fusible cotton batting.
mamu
I had a lady give me fusible batting to use on a quilt. When I took it out of the bag I noticed several areas where the 'glue' was condensed on the batting causing hard areas. I told her I could not use this batting. I knew that should my needle hit one of these areas it would probably break and throw off the timing of my machine. I told her she could use this batting for herself while using her domestic machine and see if she liked it or not. I wasn't going to chance it with using on my longarm. Wasn't worth the headache.
