Pam Berryhill
Working on a quilt I have been quilting for over a week. Needle broke twice today on cotton/cotton/cotton. 4.0 needle in correct position, so not sure why this would be happening. Anyone else having this issue? Good thing needles are not expensive! dbams
Were you going over a thick seam when either needle broke? Also, the first break could have messed up something on your machine, causing the second needle break. I'm sure more knowledgeable people will chime in. ellenmurray
Hi Pam, Ensure the needle is inserted correctly with the flat side facing forward and is pushed as far up into the machine as possible. secondly, make sure the fabric is not pulled excessively when sewing.
