Bobbins L vs bobbin M

I've heard that the M bobbin doesn't hold the tension very good. Just wondering if anyone has had good luck with their tension with a M bobbin.

I've used both.  Don't see any difference M or L, but half as many bobbin refills for the M really favors it over L.  Jim
