nora123
Ok yesterday I had a lady drop off her quilt top, backing and batting. The batting is heirloom cotton bunched up in a plastic bag it came in. When I layed it out to pin it to the take up roller it was really wrinkled. Should I let it hang there to get out the wrinkles?. should I steam the wrinkles? This is my very first customer and she has another quilt she is bring me after I finish this one. I was really impressed with her piecing. One border was a tiny bit wavy but I have worked with a lot worse and it came out looking just great. Any advise would really help. Thanks, Nora Millennium
mrsbishwit
When I get a batting that's in a bag I open it up and see if the wrinkles fall out enough naturally, usually that is all that is needed. However it may take a few days for it to be suitable. I also have heard some quilters put it in the dryer on the fluff cycle NO HEAT!! and this should speed up the process. Good luck Joann
