Crystal Posted July 5, 2007 Report Share Posted July 5, 2007 I'm having issues recently where when changing directions or stopping, my needle is cutting my bobbin thread. I can hear it happening. The bobbin thread is a little over an inch long. I'm using So fine on the top, Bottom Line on the bottom (not prewound), a new needle, batik fabrics on top and backing, Hobbs 80/20. My stitch regulator does "run on" a couple of stitches upon stopping or abruptly changing directions, and this doesn't always happen, but is becoming more frequent. Any suggestions?
