Gretchen
Help! This is a new one to me, the head of a needle has sheared off and is stuck in my machine. It is jammed up above where the screw holds the needle in place. Any suggestions how to remove it? I'm dead in the water until I do:( I placed a call to APQS help but they are busy at the moment and I'm waiting for a call back. Gretchen
connie hurst
Hi Gretchen, The only thing to do when that happens is to replace the needle bar, then you will have to re-time the machine.. I have only seen this happen maybe 5 times in all the years I've been here and maybe twice they were able to get the tip of the needle out.... As I said on the phone, call if you can't get it out and we will send a new needle bar! Thanks Good Luck!
Gretchen
Hi Connie, Thanks for getting back to me last night. I really appreceiate the support. Great news! My DH/hero for the day, got it out -- whoo hoo!! He managed to work a pic in from the opposite side from the screw and it loosened just enough with a few words of persuasion:. So, I'm back in business.
